AmbiCom WL54-USB Driver

The AmbiCom WL54-USB driver was a well known wireless adapter that used a USB connection. The file is large at about 18MB however this should work on most computer operating systems. The driver will work on Windows XP/2000.

The driver is a generic driver and you could install the driver in compatibility mode if the driver will not install on your computer outside of Windows XP/2000. Download the file below. This is a Windows XP and Windows 2000 driver. This is the 802.11b+g USB Wireless LAN Adapter ZD1211 which is a generic driver. There are INF files as well. There are other drivers as well. If you are wanting to install this on a different OS then you can extract the files and then go and see the extracted files. For this you can click on the ‘driver’ directory and then click on the Windows 2000 directory. From there you can right-click on the INF file and then click on ‘install’ and the device will install. The ZD1211U.inf file is the one you are looking for. You can then attempt to install the driver from there. The INF install of the AmbiCom WL54-USB driver should allow you to install this device even on a Windows 10 computer.Likewise the Android Composite ADB Interface and finally the Bluetooth driver for windows 7 32-bit Acer as well.

You will note that the hardware in this Ambicom is an Atheros hardware wireless connector.

Download the zip file below and then install via the INF which will be the easiest. The Alereon Wireless USB Graphics Adapter on this website is much like the same.  You will also need to check other settings on your computer.
