Axesstel AXW-D800 Router

The default username and password for the Axesstel AXW-D800 is admin | admin. The most likely default IP for the router is going to be one of the following default IPs on your network. This can be 192.168.0.1 | 192.168.1.1 | 10.0.0.1 . These are the default IP address or it will be one which you had chosen before when you changed the IP address on the router.

Change the IP Address on the Axesstel AXW-D800 router

If you want to change the default IP on the router then you will need to login with the default username and password. This on the IP as the router above will show. Now you will need to click on “Network” and then see where it says LAN. That is the default IP which would be the IP you login too. Change the router IP there and then click on save. Remember to leave the Subnet Mask at 255.255.255.0 as is and leave the DHCP Server enabled. Now turn off the router and turn it back on. In other words reboot the router.

Change the DNS on the Axesstel AXW-D800 router

If you want to change the DNS on this router then its much like the other routers under this brand. Login with the default IP address of the router as well as the default username and password of the Axesstel AXW-D800. Once you are in the router you will then need to click on the “network” button. Then change the primary DNS as well as the secondary DNS where it is shown.

The DNS IP’s are as follows for Google as well as OpenDNS.

Google Public DNS, use the following settings:

• Primary: 8.8.8.8
• Secondary: 8.8.4.4

OpenDNS, use the following settings:

• 208.67.222.222
• 208.67.220.220

You can use those DNS IP’s for the router. These are the most basic settings for the router.
