HP Laserjet 3380 printer

This is only the driver and does not include any HP software. Its a very small file and the driver will need to be extracted into a directory. Comparable HP Printers

Firstly there is the HP deskjet 1015 driver which you can also find on this website. Many of these drivers are old but there are some newer ones. These newer ones will run on Windows 10 and others. There is also the HP laserjet p1100 driver which again there is an updated driver on this website as well as for the HP laserjet 3380 as seen below. Installing the HP Laserjet 3380

The first driver was made for the Windows 8 operating system. There is no software with this driver much like others. What you do have is the INF setup file. This will allow Windows to manage the printer using another program such as Windows 10 or others. Download the file below and then extract the file. It will create its own directory. Go into the directory and then right-click on the file as seen below and then click on ‘install’ on the new menu.

You can see the file to right-click on is the file called the dot4.inf file. Once you clicked on install on the new menu after you have right-clicked on the file. Windows 10 will then state that it has found new hardware. From there you will be able to access the printer. Note again that it comes without the software and only the hardware installation files in the form of an INF file.

Other Hardware

There are a number of old devices on here that still use the INF installation method. These include the cp2102 driver as well as the rtl8187 wireless as well as the well known csr bluetooth driver which you can see howto install as well. The ft232r usb uart driver is mainly for the UART devices and not serial devices. Then finally the most common error or hardware ID codes you can find. There was an update released for Windows 10 which you can also try. This was released when Windows 10 was released. That is a straight .EXE file which you can click on to install. If it does not work then go back and try the Windows 8 driver files as explained below.
