Inspiron 15 5559 Webcam Driver

The comments such as – I have an issue with Dell Inspiron 15-5559 webcam. It has been ongoing and I got fed up with having to reboot constantly to “fix” the webcam drivers”. This has become very common as the problem appears to persist. The ID on the camera will normally show the following:

  • Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (Front F200) RGB
  • Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (Front F200) Depth

You will also see the Hardware ID’s as follows on your computer:

  • Device USB\VID_8086&PID_0A66&MI_00\6&85EB30A&0&0000
  • Device USB\VID_8086&PID_0A66

The Vendor ID being 8086 is Intel Corporation while the Device ID being 0A66  is RealSense 3D Camera (Front F200). Check to see if you have the same Hardware ID as this was the standard camera in the Inspiron 15 5559 for its camera. Similar note that if you see the Hardware ID as USB\VID_1908&PID_2311&MI_00 then it is a generic camera using the chip from GEMBIRD and the AppoTech AX2311 camera. Error Code Issues

The now common 0xA00F4271 <MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x8007001F) error mainly occurs when the computer goes to sleep. The error normally occurs there. Start by looking at the USB errors on this website. See the USB Front ports not working as well as USB device not recognized. Some motherboards will work different on the front and rear ports on your computer. So test the different ports or disable USB ports that you are using. In addition try changing  sleep to hibernate if the sleep problem is your issue. See also the ftr232r usb uart driver on here.
