Realtek RTS5139 USB Card Reader Driver

Realtek RTS5139 USB Card Reader Driver

Much like the Realtek RTL8723BE driver on here this has to be installed with the INF file. The zip file below has all the needed files that you will need. This will run on Windows XP as well as Windows 8. You can also install this on Windows 10. See how this is done. Note that this is a .zip file and you need to open the file to install the driver. This driver goes under a number of other names such as the following:

Installing the Realtek RTS5139 Card Reader

If you want to install this driver being that it is more than 9 years old. You can now install the Realtek 5139 driver which is a Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader much like the Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader also on this website. Download the zip file and then extract the content inside the zip file. See the files below in the pictures. See also the driver csr bluetooth.

Install with Compatibility Mode

If you wish to install the driver on a Windows 10 machine then you will need to first try and run it in compatibility mode. You will extract the file content. Then right-click on the setup.exe file. You must then click on “Troubleshoot Compatibility”. Windows 10 will then try and install it in an emulation mode. There are a number of different options with this. Install with INF file

If you are installing it with the INF file then it is similar to the Realtek USB 3.0 Card Reader as well. See the picture above. You will need to click on the directory which says “DriverBin_64bit”. See the directory files below. See the INF file at the bottom?

You will need to right-click on the file and then click on “install” in the new menu. Windows will then install the driver and state that it has found new hardware.
